Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel, the locally-inspired French bakery by world-renowned chef Dominique Ansel, is now serving a series of limited-time classic pies – just in time for the season’s most festive holidays.
“No Thanksgiving or Christmas meal is complete without the traditional pie ending,” says Chef Dominique. “I want to introduce the same joy and comfort that homemade pies bring to people here, to the people of Hong Kong.”
Limited Time Seasonal Pies
This festive season, Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel offers a selection of three delicious pies to be the star of any holiday gathering. Packed with fall flavors and featuring a sweet apple filling and flaky buttery crust, the Salted Caramel Apple Pie is an all-around American favorite for all occasions. Sliced Fuji apples are infused with warm notes of spices and a dash of apple cider, pairing beautifully with the gooey homemade salted caramel and displayed with a traditional lattice crust. Apple Pie will be available at Dang Wen Li shops from 7th November 2022.
The hallmark dessert of every Thanksgiving meal, the Classic Pumpkin Pie features a silky Hokkaido pumpkin puree filling encased by a golden, flaky pastry crust. Accentuated with hints of spices, the pie is topped with a rim of beautiful fall ‘foliage’. Pumpkin Pie will be available at Dang Wen Li shops from 7th November 2022.
Well-loved by all Dominique Ansel fans, another classic American Thanksgiving dessert is the Caramelized Pecan Pie, adored for its golden buttery crust, luscious filling of chopped and caramelized pecans, maple syrup, and a drizzle of whisky. In just a single bite, the pie gives the indulgent sensation of doughy filling, crunchy pecans and flaky crust. Pecan Pie is available at Dang Wen Li shops from 7th November 2022.
