Appreciate fashion, appreciate various styles! Following the collaboration with “MILK X” for the “WE LOVE MAGAZINE” project, Harbour City once again partners with them to explore and share different FASHION STYLES, interpreting the uniqueness of each style.

WE LOVE STYLE, WE LOVE GRUNGE

Grunge, the cultural movement that dominated the 90s, is known for its rebellious, nonconformist spirit and raw, alternative style. The Grunge movement emerged as a cultural phenomenon with a profound impact on music and fashion. In order to discover more about the GRUNGE trend, culture, and background originating from Seattle, we invited Hong Kong electronic musician MERRY LAMB LAMB to delve into it with us.

For the first chapter of WE LOVE STYLE, WE LOVE GRUNGE, MERRY LAMB LAMB is invited as a master to share her insights on GRUNGE in terms of music and fashion. She has been releasing works since 2016, and although her eyebrow-swept hairstyle and ever-changing looks may seem contrasting to the world of decadent GRUNGE, her passion and knowledge about GRUNGE, evident when she talks about her own collection of KURT COBAIN memorabilia, should not be underestimated. In addition to the GRUNGE pro, we have also invited four new forces: model Hoi 2, singer-songwriter RVA, photographer Sharon, and 3D artist RAM. They will take on the challenge of styling a GRUNGE-themed outfit within a limited time frame in Harbour City. MERRY LAMB LAMB will be the judge to provide commentary, allowing us to appreciate and gain a deeper understanding of the origins and evolution of this fashion style.
