Appreciating fashion entails the appreciation of diverse styles! Collaborating with “MILK X”, Harbour City delves into a multitude of fashion styles, decoding the exceptional qualities of each style, revealing how they enchant and become a trendsetter in the fashion realm.

WE LOVE STYLE, WE LOVE MINIMALISM

Less is more. As Japanese organizing guru Marie Kondo puts it, “Keep only the items that spark joy in you.” Minimalism goes beyond decluttering; it’s a way of life. It’s a silent symphony, a vintage record player, an art movement stemming from the 1960s wabi-sabi, and sunlight filtering through concrete structures. From art to fashion, let’s unload our cluttered thoughts and delve into the aesthetics of minimalism.

In the third edition of WE LOVE STYLE, musician Yuki Lovey shares her insights on minimalism with us. From basic monochromatic pairings and a pursuit of material quality to internal shifts in personal psychology and shopping habits. For Yuki, minimalism isn’t just about clothing; it extends to music choices and interior design as well.

We have also invited four new voices to contribute – college student Hugo Chan (@chankahugo), model Mia Leung (@mia_leung), content creator Cherena (@chereeeeena), and athlete Eric Yeung (@eric_yeung). Each participant embraced the challenge of curating unique items from designated stores in Harbour City to express their individual minimalist styles within a set timeframe. Following that, Yuki Lovey offers her commentary as we explore and appreciate the stories behind the origins and progression of this fashion style.
