EVISU, the legendary Japanese denim brand, is thrilled to unveil Capsule Zero from the pre-fall collection. Launching globally on Aug 8th, the collection fuses decades of heritage and craftsmanship with a contemporary reinterpretation of vintage workwear and varsity aesthetics.

Tapping into the electric energy of the iconic 2000s—a time of unmatched creativity and experimental hype—EVISU pays homage to nearly 35 years of legacy while introducing an energized brand perspective. This season’s color palettes feature vibrant hues and color blocks of Varsity Red, Marine Blue, and Pine Green, with subtle nods to camouflage patterns, balanced by muted shades of gray, black, beige, and denim. The cutting-edge collection juxtaposes cropped and structured tops with relaxed, oversized jeans and workpants, and pays tribute to the era’s classic Y2K trucker hat.

Pulling from iconic American aesthetics and cult vintage styles, Capsule Zero reintroduces timeless staples like varsity t-shirts and jackets with modern elevations. The classic varsity jacket is transformed into a souvenir-inspired piece adorned with EVISU’s iconic tiger emblem and Japanese graphics. Camp collar shirts are chainstitched with EVISU’s retro logo, and perhaps the most significant highlight of the collection includes innovative denim treatments and fabric selections that live across an ensemble of baggy fit jeans and canvas pants, and must-have layers like coaches, moto, and bomber jackets.
