Shu uemura kokeshu first made an appearance in the Tokyo flagship store in 2021 and has since become an iconic part of the retail experience. Over time, kokeshu has been transformed to represent different moments and collaborations, with the makeup and styling of each kokeshu being designed in collaboration with their international artistic director, uchiide-san.
