AIGLE’s iconic handcrafted natural rubber boot is assuredly featured in the Iconicity capsule. Études Studio has updated this popular staple through the use of colours and design details. ‘With this new model, we stripped the boot naked to create the cleanest product possible,‘ Études explains, ‘For the colour, we chose a deep black embellished with the AIGLE logo in white. Simple as it sounds, we did not have a black boot – really black, down to the sole – in our collections.’ Referencing the classic high boot styles, the new models for men and women opt for cleaner lines inspired by older waterproof socks for a slimming effect that flatters the shape of the legs. The new boot is also crafted by expert hands in France in a process that requires an average of 60 manufacturing steps.
