Bold fusion of art and fashion
Creative director and art-enthusiast Izumi Ogino, who often seeks inspiration from art, invited Japanese-American artist Mika Tajima as a collaborator. Mika Tajima’s art, expressed through sculpture, painting, and installation explores themes of control, performance, and freedom, giving Izumi inspiration and ideas for the seasonal concept. The theme “Imperfection and Innocent Mind of Beauty,” embracing the beauty of impermanence and the passage of time, expressing the connection between people and nature.

The collection explores rich glass colors with a harmonious gradation effect, grounded by neutrals and versatile earth tones, which bring a reassuring and nourishing quality to the palette.

PALLONCINO WIREBAG – A Celebration of Individuality and Craftsmanship
Inspired by the artistic vision of Mika Tajima and her captivating artwork “Anima”, which translates to breath, life, or vital force in Latin, ANTEPRIMA’s designers have reimagined this glass sculpture through seamless knitting, forming two balloon-like shapes in a transparent yet structured material whilst also transformed into the PALLONCINO WIREBAG. Its round silhouette serves as a visual metaphor for the acceptance of one’s flaws, encouraging users to celebrate their unique individuality. With its deceptively simple design, PALLONCINO makes a subtle yet impactful statement, effortlessly enhancing any ensemble with refined elegance.
