Mid-Autumn Festival is soon approaching and the moon is projecting a stunning supermoon view for us all to enjoy. It’s time to prepare for the reunion and find the best spot in town to celebrate and admire the beautiful moon. With this in mind, seven Hong Kong local designers from PMQ, a creative landmark in Hong Kong, will hold a workshop event named “Colours of the Moon” Workshop Buffet from 15th to 17th September at the Atrium on the ground floor of Ocean Terminal, Harbour City. Participants only need one ticket to access as many creative workshops as they can within a 3-hour time frame. They could experience a variety of design techniques of their own choice, convey the warmth of handmade craftsmanship and salute the creative minds.
The harmonious moonlight is one of the ways to express love and it is not limited to the standard silvery white colour. As seasons and weather change, we can see other beautiful lunar hues. The theme of this workshop buffet is inspired by observable lunar hues such as gold, orange, blue, yellow, pink, and purple. Seven local designers from fashions, accessories, homewares and natural skincare products join forces to curate a variety of creative workshops covering herbs dyeing towel, leather key ring, weaving handbag, upcycle wooden lighting, jewellery box, herbal bath salt, hand-painted mirror. Participants can exchange skills with designers during the workshops and create their unique masterpieces as special festival gifts or travel souvenirs to surprise their friends and families.
