Embodying the spirit of its three founders, Diptyque has always embraced an eclectic, cosmopolitan, and curious style that celebrates the beauty of the world. From its first boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris in 1961 to its latest locations, each Diptyque boutique carries forward this tradition of embracing the world’s beauty.
True to its roots, Diptyque’s renovated Harbour City boutique re-engages with the original “34” concept by showcasing the craftsmanship behind its unique pieces. Featuring carefully selected furniture and objects that tell a panoply of stories, the space is designed as a light and colorful apartment. Customers are invited to discover a world of imagination beyond the green-lacquered metal facade and gilded logo, and the “Diptyque à Hong Kong” mosaic. The colorful walls, mural drawing and oxidized metal floor create a universe of sophistication and eclecticism, beckoning visitors into the home of a collector or a cabinet of curiosities.
Combining the charm of Parisian interiors with local decorative traditions, Diptyque’s Harbour City boutique blends the stucco typical of Haussmann apartments with an oak table, and orange cupboards engraved with the brand’s oval logo. A mural inspired by a Greek landscape drawn by Desmond Knox-Leet completes the interior design, celebrating the decorative codes of Diptyque. The boutique offers a feast for the senses and the mind, inviting customers to experience each collection and its rituals. The home collection of scented candles with floral, woody, spicy and herbaceous notes, fragrances, and skincare collections are accompanied by an outstanding selection of décor objects to bring infinite beauty to everyday life.
