END. and Levi’s® continue their longstanding partnership with “Mount Rambler,” a six-piece collection inspired by mountainous landscapes and the ramblers who have long hiked, explored and immersed themselves in these terrains. Rambling gained widespread popularity during the 19th century, emerging as a response to increasing industrialization and growing desire to escape the city and connect with the great outdoors. As the years passed, the fanfare surrounding rambling continued to expand with steady momentum, leading to a global phenomenon by the latter part of the 20th century.
During the 1970s, the world of rambling became a cultural movement amongst free-spirited, style-conscious individuals, renowned for their love of the great outdoors, rock ‘n’ roll music and connecting with one and other under the open sky. Historically Levi’s® has been a beacon for individuality and self-expression, serving as a uniform for those who embrace the spirit of counterculture. The new capsule celebrates these adventurers and the outfits they would wear, taking inspiration from their codes and applying them to classic Levi’s® garments.
At the core of the collection is a rework of the beloved Levi’s® Type II Trucker Jacket, available in off-white with bespoke detailing throughout, ranging from custom D-ring loops to mountain ridge stitch detailing. Complimenting the trucker is a pair of Levi’s® 568 Jeans, offered in a loose fit and available in both light wash and off-white pairing back to the jacket. Special features include utilitarian D-ring loops and mountain ridge stitching behind each back pocket – which becomes more prominent with increased wear, weaving the wearer’s personal story into each garment.
References to vintage outdoor clothing continue with the Ringer T-Shirt, offered in green and clove, featuring a rambler inspired sketched graphic. A duo of green and orange paisley bandanas nod to the rambler’s uniform, positioned as both an expression of personal style and functional tool for keeping long hair out of the wearer’s eyes. Rounding off the collection is a 6-panel Cap, offered in green with white rope detailing and an embroidered bespoke co-branded rambler graphic on the front.
