Ferragamo unveils its “Ballerina Month”, a series of events and experience to support Hong Kong local ballet culture and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the iconic Ferragamo ballerina. Ferragamo Ballerina Month spans from 1st October to 4th November, center staged at its Harbour City Boutique. The programs include a ballerina party on 10th October, a ballet talk by HK Ballet Artistic Director, Septime Webre on 15th October and will be highlighted by its title sponsorship of HK Ballet 45th Anniversary Gala on 25th Oct. The 3 key moments are linked with the “Ferragamo Micro Cinema” inside its Harbour City Boutique. Inspired by Italian movie theaters, this in store experience showcases ballet performances that celebrate the elegance, artistry, and freedom of dance, tributing the parallel between motion pictures and bodies in motion.
10 October, Ferragamo hosted an exclusive ballerina party at its Harbour City boutique to celebrate this series of events. The brand proudly announced its partnership with Hong Kong Ballet as the title sponsor of the prestigious 45th International Ballet Gala together with Hong Kong Ballet artistic director, Septime Webre. The event was also graced by the attendance of Hong Kong Film Actresses, Jennifer Yu and Louise Wong. Jennifer wore knitted dress with asymmetric panel, front flag crossbody bag and black new Vara plate ballet flat. Louise wore double breasted jacket and cashmere blend mini skirt, Hug crossbody bag with sequins and black and white new Vara plate bicolor ballet flat. Guests indulged in an intimate showcase of Ferragamo’s latest ballerina collections in the Ferragamo micro cinema.
Among the models in the collection, the ballerina inspired by the style designed for Audrey Hepburn comes in merino wool, an unusual and fun version of the iconic model. It has a practical rubber sole, and the typical Opanka sole construction. On the upper, the lace that crosses the instep ends with a metallic double F closure. Available in black or beige, joined by yellow and lavender.
Alongside this novelty, we still have the ballerina with pouch construction and Vara plaque (in white with black or pink toe) or in black cracked leather with double Gancini, and the V-neck model with Vara gros-grains bow: all black, in blue denim with nude bow, or white with red bow.
