The Marimekko Kioski Coexist Edition reminds us of the wonderful world we live in. Our coexistence with nature is all about respect – and being kind and fair to everything and everyone .
Let your kindness shine through
The Marimekko Kioski Coexist Edition brings to life some of Marimekko’s most iconic animal prints – also featured in our main collection. Meet Maija Isola’s leopard print Kaksoset (twins) and Musta tamma (black mare) alongside our most classic motifs.
An homage to gender-free dressing and the laid-back ’90s athletic aesthetic, the key pieces include oversized T shirts and a tracksuit made of cotton jersey and soft French terry – with fun customizable Velcro pattern patches, embroideries and flock prints.
Experience the magic of animated prints – about the campaign
We’re exploring the art of printmaking and new forms of creativity by expanding the Kioski community once again with up-and-coming creative talents.
Today, friendship is experienced more and more in the digital realm. The new campaign invites you to an animated Marimekko world where harmony between all creatures thrives. This digital utopia was created in collaboration with the emerging director and photographer, Hayley Lê, and 3D illustrator/VFX artist, Aliina Kauranne, Finnish illustrator of the year 2020.
The campaign’s sound design was created in collaboration with our new friend Licaxxx, a producer and DJ from Tokyo, who has composed a conceptual piece of music by utilizing a sound library based on field recordings from the Marimekko printing mill.
