Spanning 1,800 square feet, the Matin Kim Harbour City location continues the brand’s Korean storefront aesthetic with hues of black, white, grey, and metallic silver throughout. The storefront showcases Matin Kim’s iconic metal sign, embodying the brand’s distinctive rough, free, and natural aesthetic.
Within the Harbour City store hangs a specially crafted art installation titled “WHITE GROVE,” created by the Korean art unit FIVECOMMA exclusively for the brand. Artists intricately weave different fabric textures, representing the rich textures of the different seasons, transforming the store into an art space that transcends traditional retail boundaries. It aims to inspire visitors to immerse themselves in this unfamiliar forest-like environment and encourage exploration of the linkage between oneself and nature.
