Appreciating fashion entails the appreciation of diverse styles! Collaborating with “MILK X”, Harbour City delves into a multitude of fashion styles, decoding the exceptional qualities of each style, revealing how they enchant and become a trendsetter in the fashion realm.
WE LOVE STYLE, WE LOVE GENDER FLUID
From UNISEX, ANDROGYNY to GENDER FLUID; the boundaries of gender definitions have expanded from binary to diverse. “Fluidity” represents a relaxed state of being, allowing for freedom and self-expression. True gender fluidity lies in being true to oneself, acknowledging the inner voice rather than conforming to societal norms. In the world of GENDER FLUID, dressing is self-defined, offering freedom regardless of gender, breaking societal barriers and transcending self-imposed limits.
WE LOVE STYLE is now in its seventh edition, featuring actor Siuyea Lo Chun Yip interpreting various GENDER FLUID styles, sharing its evolution and progression in the fashion world. Having participated in numerous award ceremonies, premieres, fashion weeks, and various shoots, Siuyea possesses unique perspectives on fashion. Inspired by various movies, comics, advertisements, album covers, and groundbreaking product launches by global brands, he believes there is ample room within gender to navigate and find a suitable self-presentation. Clothing is no longer confined to “menswear” or “womenswear;” we can discover a new direction beyond gender boundaries.
In addition to Siuyea’s expertise, we have also invited four new forces: RES (@reswongky)、OCEAN (@onyaukit)、JAC(@jaclau103) and WILLIAM(@william_wty). These four individuals take on the challenge of creating a GENDER-FLUID-themed outfit within the confines of the brands at Harbour City. Siuyea will then provide commentary, offering a collective appreciation and deeper understanding of the origin and evolution of this fashion style.
