Piaget is pleased to unveil of its new flagship store in Hong Kong. Facing the bustling and vibrant Canton Road, the new boutique is located in Harbour City – one of the premier shopping destinations in Hong Kong. The concept of the new boutique is based on Salon Piaget which means living room in French. It is set up as a welcoming place where Piaget could share its creativity and savoir-faire, by showing the luxury jewelry creations alongside refined timepieces.
The store is designed by the international award-winning designers Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu. It is dressed in hues of Piaget’s signature blue and gold which pays tribute to the brand’s goldsmithing specialty. The decide of the exterior wall is inspired by “bamboo scaffolding” – a unique architectural craftsmanship in Hong Kong. This is the first time for Piaget to use local traditional craftsmanship to integrate with Piaget’s DNA on its store design. Embellished with a blue-beige ombré mirror made by the Dutch artist Sabine Marcelis, who won the Design Prize 2019 in the ‘Newcomer of the year’ category, to express the connection between Piaget and the art world
