Shot by Aidan Zamiri, the campaign innovates upon nostalgic tropes in product photography. Inspired by the Japanese technique of Sashiko stitching, the Superstar, Gazelle, Hicho, and Marathon TR are all reimagined with loose threads hanging with poise and purpose.

Y-3 Hicho Shoes take the classic adidas Campus shoes and rework them through a Y-3 lens. The premium nubuck upper rides on a thick platform, adding height and creating a subtle statement. In a nod to the Japanese technique of Sashiko stitching, the trainers have accentuated, tonal stitching around the eyestay, heel tab, midsole and the signature 3-Stripes, with all threads intentionally hanging loosely.
