The YouTube Music Night is returning to Hong Kong! YouTube partners with Harbour City to host three free events from August to October at Ocean Terminal Deck, Harbour City. For the first time, performing artists are coming together from different regions to collaborate at YouTube Music Night in Hong Kong, with awe-inspiring music and the stunning vista of Victoria Harbour from dusk till night.
The third event will be hosted on October 27 featuring two all-around musicians, Hong Kong talented singer-songwriter Jay Fung and Korean 17-year-old rising star GYUBIN. Jay Fung is celebrated for his unique fusion of Western singing styles with Cantonese pop, captivating audiences with his delicate emotional expressions and extraordinary vocal talent.
GYUBIN skyrocketed to fame just five months after her January debut with her upbeat single “Really Like You” which showcases her melodious voice and sweet charms. With her youthful energy and singing-songwriting skills, she captured the attention of music enthusiasts, earning the affectionate title of “Little IU” among Korean fans.
The two charismatic artists will deliver a one-hour performance at Ocean Terminal Deck, sharing their enthusiasm and distinctive music styles. There will be 200 free admission spots for public audience to register for the event, with open seating. Tickets are now available for online registration on a first-come, first served basis.
Hong Kong singer-songwriter Jay Fung participated in a local music talent show at the age of 23, where he won the second place with his unique Western musical style and versatile performances. Following that, he officially embarked on his career as a singer. Having a passion for creating songs for himself and other artists, he is also a music producer. He has written countless popular and award-winning songs, such as “Miss Somebody” and “Overruled”. Since launching his YouTube channel in 2010, he has shared numerous musical works, accumulating over 54 million total views. Among his videos, his hit single “Song for the Absentees” has gained over 4 million views.
