The YouTube Music Night is returning to Hong Kong! YouTube partners with Harbour City to host three free events from August to October at Ocean Terminal Deck, Harbour City. For the first time, performing artists are coming together from different regions to collaborate at YouTube Music Night in Hong Kong, with awe-inspiring music and the stunning vista of Victoria Harbour from dusk till night.
On the third YouTube Music Night, Hong Kong talented singer-songwriter Jay Fung and Korean rising star “Little IU” GYUBIN took the stage to share their amazing music, hyping up hundreds of fans at Ocean Terminal Deck. GYUBIN showcased her melodious voice with her hit single “Really Like You” and her latest release “Satellite”, then performed piano solo while singing the Cantonese song “You Gotta Screw Up At Least Once” and “getaway”, followed by Mandarin song “A Little Happiness”, English song “Fly Me to the Moon” and more, captivating the audience with her exceptional versatility. Jay delivered his new song “See You Soon, It’s Not A Goodbye” and his touching rendition of “Someone You Loved”. He also led the audience in a sing-along of “Not Too Far Away” with the venue lit up with flashlights, creating an incredible atmosphere.
The two artists also teamed up for a duet of “Rewrite the Stars”, mesmerizing everyone with their perfect vocal harmony. The performance video will be uploaded to the artists’ YouTube channels later, allowing everyone to re-watch the exciting show!
The YouTube Music Night aims to enhance international music exchange by bringing various musical genres from different regions to audiences around the world. The first event in August featured the Canadian pop duo Crash Adams, who have millions of YouTube subscribers, and 22-year-old Australian rising star Oliver Cronin. As for the performance in September, three emerging new-generation artists, Taiwanese singer-songwriter Dena Chang, Hong Kong singer Feanna Wong, and singer-songwriter Lewsz, took the stage. Performance videos of Crash Adams and Oliver Cronin have now been uploaded to the artists’ YouTube channels.
