The Star Ferry is one of Hong Kong's best-known and most-loved landmarks. The distinctive green-and-white ferries are diesel-powered boats that have been serving Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon Peninsula since 1898. The ferries now carry more than 100,000 people each day.
How to get there:
A 2-minute walk from Ocean Terminal, Harbour City.
Step back in time aboard the fabulous double-decker "Shining Star" ferry, a beautiful replica of the ferries that piled Victoria Harbour in the 1920s. This unique tour takes you along the Hong Kong waterfront and ensures uninterrupted views of the city.
Tsim Sha Tsui's clock tower houses the original clock from the former site of the Tsim Sha Tsui Train Station. Just next to the Star Ferry Pier, within the grounds of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and harbour promenade. It is another popular and romantic meeting spot after the 5 Flag-Post Forecourt at Ocean Terminal.

This 'ski-slope' shaped building right on the waterfront is the centre for Hong Kong's music, theatre, art and dance showcase. It is situated on the perimeters of the Star Ferry Pier.

Occupying a permanent exhibition area of 6,500 square metres, the Museum houses over 500 exhibits. Nearly 70 percent of them are interactive and suitable for visitors of all ages. Among them, the most prominent exhibit is the largest device of its kind in the world: the Energy Machine. Another attraction is the DC-3 airplane which is the first local airliner and the first exhibit moved into the Museum building.
